    Meals for LWUMC Safe Parking

     LWUMC Safe Parking provides a safe space for families and women living in their cars. Volunteers can provide a warm meal for guests each evening. Please click the button for available dates, number of guests, and instructions.

    Food

    The church keeps supplies of both perishable (please contact the church for fridge space) and non-perishable food on hand for families to use for cooking their meals. Please make sure food items are not expired before donating. If you have more than a small tray or grocery bag full of items, please call 425.922.8051 to make sure we have space.

    • Cash donations can be made here.
    • When writing a check, make the payee LWUMC and write Safe Parking in the memo line
    • Our most requested gift cards are for gas, laundry, and hair cuts

    Toiletries

    The church keeps a variety of toiletries on hand for guests experiencing homelessness. Items needed are:

    • Shampoo
    • Soap
    • Toothpaste, toothbrushes & floss
    • Tampons & pads
    • Adult diapers (all sizes)
    • Disposable razors
    • Baby wipes

    Other Items Needed

    • Flashlights
    • Batteries (all sizes, especially AAA and AA)
