What to Expect
Our Sunday morning services last about an hour. They begin with singing 4-5 songs chosen by the congregation. We pray together, read Scripture, hear a 10-15 minute sermon from our pastor. We write down our prayers, and the pastor gathers them together and includes them as she prays for the community and the world. We sing songs from our hymnbooks, listen to beautiful piano music as we reflect, and we learn about opportunities to serve during the week.

Our congregation is socioeconomically diverse; some people dress up for church, and others wear t-shirt and shorts. In the back pew, there is a space where children and others who need to move their bodies can color, use fidgets, read books, or build something from blocks.
On the first Sunday of each month, we celebrate communion together with gluten-free bread and grape juice. People from any age and background are welcome to receive communion; we believe it is one of the ways Jesus shows up, and who are we to get in the way of that?

After church, we share free coffee and cookies in the celebration space. The pastor leads a drop-in Bible study for about an hour. We don’t always get it right. But we try to create a Sunday experience that helps us love our God and love our neighbor. We hope you’ll come see for yourself!
